Ahmed Musa, the Nigeria’s Super Eagles captain has disclosed his plan to sponsor 100 students at Skyline University, Nigeria.
Musa who was unveiled on Wednesday as the university’s brand ambassador, said, “I am pleased to let you know that I would be sponsoring 100 students at this university. Yes! 100. Details to follow shortly.
“I am a great believer in the importance of education hence, my excitement in joining this great team to promote this vision of becoming anything you want to be in life as long as you can dream it.”
Following his sterling performance which brought victories to the Super Eagles over Benin and Lesotho in their 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying games, Musa is expected to promote the institution’s corporate identity, values and ethics as well as sports.
According to a congratulatory statement released by the university, Musa is the first brand ambassador for the institution.
“Congratulations to Nigeria’s Super Eagles Captain, Ahmed Musa, who became the first Brand Ambassador for Skyline University Nigeria (SUN).
“Ahmed Musa will now be involved in delivering the brand ambassador’s outcome for the institution of higher learning to embody corporate identity in appearance, values and ethics as well as promote school sports and represent the university in a variety of sports events,” it stated.
The soccer star had also been noted to regularly make financial contributions and donate food stuffs and mattresses to the needy during his summer holidays in Nigeria.
