Four Nigerian students have won bronze medal at the International Festival 8Festival of Engineering Science and Technology (I-FEST) held in Tunisia.
The students, who are from St John’s Science and Technical College, Anambra State, are Anthony Chuka-Umeora; Daniel Nwachukwu; Dominic Machi; and Ogonna Ugwuish.
The I-FEST is organised under the aegis of ATAST – the Tunisian Association for the future of Science and Technology, and established to bring world’s young scientists together to enable all participants get rid of boredom; have fun and even create new things.
According to the I-FEST, the scientific competition in different areas helps to improve and develop young scientists’ skills and show how innovative they can be.
It also encourages them to apply their imagination and creativity to technology innovations.
Open to all students and supervisors aged between 14-24, and even parents and professors, the competition promotes professional excellence as well as intercultural dialogue and cooperation.
This, it does through the involvement of students and experts from different countries.
